You better be totally happy that I posted more pics on here...

Here are some pictures from these last couple weeks. :-) Enjoy!

Busy, busy, busy

Life is good right now. It's been thoroughly busy, but I like it that way. I'm not the type of person to just sit around and do nothing. :-) I've been camping twice this year, plus I'm going to the beach next week. Cello lessons have been once a week, which have been going oh so well. I'm working a song right now that I just can't get down, but once I do, it will sound good.
My first camping trip was at Lake Morganton, Blue Ridge. My friends: Beth, Erin, Michael, Hannah, and Caleb came with me and my family. We had loads of fun! The first day we unloaded everything, and went for a swim. Oh, if only I could stay in a lake forever. It was so refreshing and relaxing. The second day we spent the day playing games, swimming, taking long walks, etc, etc....The 3rd day, another group of friends came down and went tubing with us. (I would post pictures, but I can't. :P) Anyway, that lasted for about 45 minutes, then all of us headed back for dinner and fellowship. It was a great time just to relax, and to get away from computers, tv, phones....It's nice to have these things, but I didn't miss them. It was actually fortunate that we had brought another van with us, because the day we got home, our van broke down. It was providential because if we had taken it up to the campsite, we would've had to spend a pretty penny to tow it down back to our place. Praise God for His timing of things, and not ours.
A couple weeks of getting back into schedule again, we left for another camping trip to Kentucky. My mom is a science teacher, and she had promised her students that she would take them to Mammoth Caves, so we went. It was all told 11 people. I was stuck with 5 12 yr. old boys though....that was interesting. :) Anyway, I had an AWESOME TIME! The cave was just so cool and fun to be listen to the tour guide about how it was formed "65 million years ago"....My butt it was formed 65 million years ago.....
It's good to be on vacation, but you can't be on vacation forever. After getting back, we've been busy with getting ready for my brother's graduation party! I'm so happy for him! Love you, dude! :) After his graduation party, we'll be leaving for Myrtle Beach with my Grandparents. I CANNOT WAIT!!! I love the beach!!! It's just a beautiful place...I hope to update after our beach vacation...
(Here's some pics from both camping trips!)

Another post...see? I'm not slacking =)

Almost half a year ago, I had posted a picture of my new cousin, Nathan Dawson. Here's a couple pics of him now. Ain't he a cutie??

My 3 month summer so far....

I've been such a slacker for not keeping up with my posts, but you know what? I'm going to try my best to keep an update every now and then.
I've been really busy this summer, which not just vacation, but just little things like going places. So far this summer, I've had one "vacation". Not that I wouldn't call summer "vacation" but an actual leave the house for a week, go camping, go to the beach...none of that...I went to Virginia for a week in June, and that's been my "out of state" vacation for the summer. I thoroughly enjoyed it, and hope to go with my family next year.
I get to go camping in the next 2 weeks up in north Ga, and am real excited. I haven't gone camping in forever, and we used to go as a family all the time!! I guess it makes the times we go even more fun. =)
School for me will start the first week of September. I'll be starting my junior year, which is like whoa! I remember my older friends starting junior year, and me only an 8th grader. I can't believe how fast time flies. My sister has 2 years left of college. (She took a year off to work, but she's going to GSU this semester.) My brother just graduated high school, and will probably work for another year to earn more money, then go to college. It's exciting, but sad. I remember being homeschooled by Mum, and always having my bro and sis around. Now, they're not here anymore! I guess that's life.
I hope to update next week or sometime after I go camping.
Well, there's that. Ciao!

Summer!

Summer is right around the corner, and boy am I excited! This means I get to go on lots of vacations and take TONS of pictures!! =) I don't think I've mentioned this,(this just shows you how long I HAVEN'T been updating) ;) but I am taking cello lessons! I've been doing it for about a month and a half now, and am enjoying it thoroughly! My teacher is Kim Vinson, and she is doing an excellent job so far. The songs I've been able to play by ear are 1) Pachelbel Canon in D 2)Ashokan Farewell and 3) Ode to Joy by Beethoven. For a couple years now, I've been wanting to play the cello, but now that I've started, I don't think I want to stop! I just LOVE playing! <3 Anyway, let me post some pics and let you enjoy. =)

Dinner...

So I thought I might show ya'll what a dinner would look like in my family household. This meal consists of beef cutlets, marinated in a sauce with mushrooms and shallots, including buttery green beans, and cheesy pasta. :)

It was delicious, so kudos to my mother :)

advice from a friend :)

My friend tells me, in a very non-bad/very friendly way, that my pictures are a tad too bright. I thought they were fine, as in brightness. I'll take the advice, and start 'darkening' up more upcoming pictures.
If you have any more suggestions, please tell! :)
I'll try not to get mad at you ;)

i'm a new cousin!

Nathan Dawson Cunningham: 5 lbs. 10 oz.

Nathan was born about a month and a half early than his original due date. He's scheduled to be in the hospital for another 6 weeks just to keep an eye on him, and because he's a premature. Please keep my Aunt Sarah in your prayers, for she's had a rough pregnancy with this little guy.

Flowers, mushrooms, and moss :)

Flowers, bushes, clouds..etc... :)

"my best friend always brings out the best in me."

The second pic is my best friend. She is very photogenic, and I love taking pics of her. She's great at posing, and has a cute smile. :)
The first pic was taken at the "Atlanta Botanical Gardens" (again)....This was particularly a hard pic to catch, seeing it was in a glass tank. This was the only one that turned out. :) Hope these aren't boring you too much. ;)
Love, me...

the beginning of the blog :)

So, these pics were taken last week. The first pic was taken at the "Atlanta Botanical Gardens", which was an amazing place! I had a hard time getting pics of the yellow jackets, but this one was the better one of them all. :)

The second pic was taken in Atlanta, on our way home from the pro-life march. (i was encouraged to be there) Taking pics of buildings can be uber fun!
Whoever reads this, please comment. :) I love getting comments.

the beginning :)

This blog has, basically, one purpose: to show people my pictures. :)

I never really had an interest in taking pictures until I got my first camera. My first camera was this big, bulky, pink camera....it was really cool at the time! I could add little gadgets on my images, and change colors, so on and so forth. About 8 months later, my camera broke. I don't know how it broke, but all I know is that if it hadn't broke, then I would never have gotten my other pink camera. (which btw, is still an AWESOME CAMERA) .
Being without a camera for 4 months was real boring. I couldn't take pictures, or capture memories. I felt a little left out because of what happened. Oh well...life went on.
Christmas came, and guess what? I got another camera! It is a Canon PowerShot SD1100.....I LOVE it! It goes everywhere, and has been everywhere. After having it for over a year, I thought it was time for an upgrade, because the more I got an interest in taking pics, the more I wanted the better quality, the better mega pixels, etc..etc...so my for my birthday, (which is in exactly one week) I've asked for a Canon Rebel. Those things look really nice! Too bad they're real expensive :P.
Well, here goes with putting up pics. Enjoy!
